I do LARPs. Why? LARPs or, live action roll-playing games, are great events for people who like to play games, who like to live different live stories, not just in books, or pc games, but among other people, outside. I never really learned how to properly communicate with people and different LARP events are opportunities where I can improve my communicating and improvisation skills. Where I can learn about people´s behavior. But it´s not just about the fun, there are situations that won´t make you comfortable, that are difficult to solve. And it´s about these situations where you can learn the most about yourself. About the parts of your personality that needs training and more work to get better. These are my motivations for LARP. My favorites are fantasy LARPs. I usually play mages, vampires and in the near future I would like to play more battle oriented characters. Recently I was collaborating with Event Horizon on their LARP project with my illustrations and cover for event and page. Event is based on Sergej Lukianenko´s fantasy Day watch and Night watch. It´s based in Bratislava, Slovakia. Their first episode gained success, and people are looking forward to join next episode.
